David Perkins and Debbie Mulneix Assuming New Responsibilities

Missionaries David and Betsy Perkins have served with the Kodaikanal International School (KIS) in India. Beginning this year, David will serve as the Country Director of India mission of International Ministries. He will oversee the relief and development work, and gives support and encouragement to Baptist partners of the country. He will also serve as the Vice Team Leader of the India Property Team. Betsy will continue to serve as KIS Dean of Students, responsible for the residential life of the students.

Beginning April 1, 2008, missionary Debbie Mulneix will serve as the Director of Mission Mobilization of Southern Asia of International Ministries. Debbie will conduct consultation and training to equip individuals and churches in India, Nepal and the US to develop mutual understanding and respect, and cooperative effort to provide personnel, financial, and other resources to each other via volunteer service and short term trips.

IM relates to 12 Baptist conventions and councils in India and Nepal, which represent around 2 millions baptized members.
