Pastor Carla Gay A. Romarate-Knipel
Special Assistant for Philippines Relation
International Ministries has invited Pastor Carla Romarate-Knipel to serve as the Special Assistant of Benjamin Chan (Area Director of East Asia and India) for Philippines Relation. Carla will promote mutual understanding and cooperation of the International Ministries and partner organizations in the Philippines. She will provide leadership training at the invitation of national partners. She will also work with Ben to identify resources to enhance the ministries in the Philippines.
Pastor Carla Gay A. Romarate-Knipel has served as the co-interim pastor of the First Baptist Church of Norristown, Pennsylvania since 2006. She has special interests in leadership development, spiritual formation and Christian education. She is experienced in training youth and young adults for missions and evangelism. She has served as a lecturer and counselor in youth gatherings, camps and conferences. She has also designed and taught seminary courses that prepared students for contextual ministry. Carla received her Bachelor of Theology and Master of Divinity degrees from the College of Theology and School of Graduate Studies respectively at Central Philippine University. She is graduating on May 16, 2009 with the degree of Doctor of Ministry in the Renewal of the Church for Mission at the Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University, Pennsylvania.
