Satribari Christian Hospital, founded in 1925

Organization:

Satribari Christian Hopital is the first nursing school in Assam and was founded by a missionary nurse with four staffs. It presently has 155 beds with 9 doctors, 6 consultants, 101 staffs and 80 nursing students. The hospital has a chaplain to provide spiritual care for the patients. It also runs a rural community health center at Borbituli and Dhomdhoma.
